Will Plan Documents

All will packages contain the following: Will, Durable Power of Attorney, Medical Power of Attorney, Directive to Physicians/Advanced Directive (Living Will), Pre-Need Guardian Designation, Declaration of Guardian for Minor Children (if needed), HIPAA Authorization, Letters of Instruction to Executor, Location Lists, Memorial Instructions, Anatomical Gifts Form, Final Disposition Instructions, Folder, Will Execution for greater Austin clients/Signing Instructions for non-Austin clients. Will plan clients will have two virtual meetings with Ms. O’Connor prior to receiving their final documents: a one and a half to two hour intake meeting and an hour long meeting to go over the draft documents.

Trust Packages

All trust packages contain the following: Trust, Pour-Over Will, Durable Power of Attorney, Medical Power of Attorney, Directive to Physicians/Advanced Directive (Living Will), Pre-Need Guardian Designation, Declaration of Guardian for Minor Children (if needed), HIPAA Authorization, Letters of Instruction to Executor, Location Lists, Memorial Instructions, Anatomical Gifts Form, Final Disposition Instructions, Folder, Will Execution for greater Austin clients/Signing Instructions for non-Austin clients. Complex Wills and Complex Trusts

What makes a will or trust complex? Complicated legal issues that would require additional legal research. Examples incude, but are not limited to: wanting to disinherit someone; anticipating a will contest; planning for someone with special needs, including drug addiction; owning land or real property out of state; wanting to avoid probate; children from multiple relationships/multiple marriages; owning a large business; or requiring mediciad or tax planning.
